1400 Power Luber Problems Grinding Noise in Low Gear and Poor Performance

October 1, 2019	Grinding Noise in Low Gear and Poor Performance. I have a customer with a 1400 Series C power luber. It makes a grinding noise in low gear and it does not pump grease very well. Any suggestions on what he needs to change ?	The gear selector may not have fully engaged the low gear set. It also may be worn down from switching gears while unit was still moving. Could also be a semi blocked hose or coupler. I would first try cleaning out the gun head passages and see how it runs without the hose installed. remove the coupler and see how it runs with open ended whip hose(if poor performance, try new hose). Lastly install coupler and run test again.
